Teogonia anime is getting a TV adaptation soon

Teogonia anime is an adaption of the eponymous Japanese light novel series written by Tsukasa Tanimai and illustrated by Kouichiro Kawano. The anime’s official staff has announced through a promotional video that Teogonia anime is coming out in 2025. In addition to this, the main cast and staff of the Seinen anime have also been announced in the announcement.

How to catch up to the light novel?

The novel was initially published by Tsukasa-san on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro before the publishing rights were acquired by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha.
The light novels have also inspired a manga adaptation with Shunsuke Aoyama’s illustrations.

The original light novels of Teogonia first saw the light of day in Japan through Shufu to Seikatsu Sha through their PASH! Books labeled and an English language version can be bought through J-Novel Club. As this story is written, no further information has been announced, including the cast, crew, or release date.

Crew members

The anime adaptation of Teogonia is helmed by Kunihiro Mori at Asahi Production, with Tomoyasu Ookubo as the series composer and supervisor. Kouichiro Kawano, the original character illustrator for the light novel series, handles character design. Kenji Fujisawa has been roped in as a music composer.

Synopsis

Based on the Isekai fantasy series by Tsukasa Tanimai, the anime is set at a time of warfare where human beings are in a relentless tussle with the Demi-human tribes like Macaque and the Ogres. A young guy, Kai is soaked in battle against those tribes to protect his village. He acquires unimaginable powers that will help his cause. Thus, the anime depicts the attempts of a boy who wants to save his loved ones. It goes on to show his many struggles and developments. And following the plot, even being a villager, Kai gets himself involved in great trials.
This makes for a great read of fantasy when it comes to one boy growing up and struggling in a harsh world.
