Exciting news for Jujutsu Kaisen fans! The prequel manga “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” is set to hit the stage in Tokyo this December and Osaka in January 2025.

Yuta and Rika, rejoicing in three years of victory, return in the Gege Akutami-based manga JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 stage play.
The same Kensaku Kobayashi will direct and Kohei Kiyasu write the script as in the earlier Jujutsu Kaisen stage plays. Tokyo’s performance is scheduled for this December, while Osaka’s rendition is to be held during January 2025 with a live band performing music during the shows.

The main protagonists of the stage play are Itadori Yuji, Fushiguro Megumi, Kugisaki Nobara, Maki Zenin, and Inumaki Toge. Other parts announced on the cast via Twitter include Sato Ryuji for Itadori Yuji, Yasue Kazuaki for Fushiguro Megumi, Toyohara Erika for Kugisaki Nobara, Takatsuki Sara for Zenin Maki, Sadamoto Fuma as Inumaki Toge, Terayama Takeshi as Panda, Wada Masanari as Nanami Kento, and Miura Ryosuke for Gojo Satoru.
Synopsis
It is an anime series set in a dark action show where the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, learns sorcery and battles curses, or evil beings born from evil human feelings. One fateful day, Yuji eats a cursed finger to save a classmate and thus allows a powerful evil sorcerer named Ryomen Sukuna to live inside him. Under the protection of jujutsu sorcerers, Yuji enrols in Tokyo Jujutsu High School to fight curses. Under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, he is also able to befriend first-year companions Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki.
The performances will run from December 13 to 29 at The Galaxy Theater in Tokyo; and on January 18-19, 2025, at Sky Theater MBC in Osaka.
