Exciting news for My Hero Academia fans! Hiroshi Kamiya joins the voice cast as a younger All For One in Season 7, taking over from Akio Otsuka.
After the 18th episode of Season 7 aired in Japan, the My Hero Academia website announced that Hiroshi Kamiya will voice the younger version of One For All, replacing Akio Otsuka. The anime’s official social media confirmed this on Saturday. Season 7 was announced after Season 6 ended in March 2023.
A special four-episode compilation with some new scenes was released on April 6. The new season started on May 4, with episode 139. The show airs on YTV and NTV on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. (4:30 a.m. EDT) and is available to stream on Crunchyroll.

The fourth My Hero Academia movie, titled “You’re Next,” opened in Japan on August 2 and is being shown in IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema. It will be released in U.S. theaters by TOHO International on October 11, with English subtitles and dubs. The manga was first published by Kōhei Horikoshi in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014 and ended on August 5. Viz Media publishes it in English in North America, and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service also offers it digitally in English. The manga reached over 100 million copies in circulation worldwide by April.

Kenji Nagasaki is the Chief Director for Season 7, with Naomi Nakayama directing. Yusuke Kuroda writes the scripts, and Yuki Hayashi is in charge of the music. The story follows Izuku, who dreams of being a hero but has no superpowers. In a world where most people have special abilities, he was born normal. However, he still wants to join a top-hero school.
